DR. CUSHMAN, SECRETARY '65 DIES

The class of 1865 has lost by death its longtime secretary, the Rev. Henry I. Cushman, S. T. D. Death occurred on September 15 about a year subsequent to Dr. Cushman's resignation as pastor of the First Universalist Church of East Providence after fifty-one years' service in the ministry in the state of Rhode Island.

Readers of the MAGAZINE will recall the two group pictures of an Orford Trio of the Class of '65 published in the issue for April, 1927. This group consisted of Leonard Wilcox, Edwin B. Hale and Dr. Cushman who was the last survivor of the Trio. A more complete obituary notice appears elsewhere in this Magazine.
