The following is from the Brooklyn DailyEagle of December 9: "Prof. Willis Earle, instructor in journalism and director of school publications in Erasmus Hall High School, is on a leave of absence until February, which he is spending at the Riviera. He sailed on the Berengaria at the same time that Queen Marie did, and was accorded the unusual honor of having an hour's informal conversation with her about the education of American boys and girls."
Mrs. George B. Kingsbury collapsed during the Christmas dinner and died soon after. Mr. and Mrs. Kingsbury, whose maiden name was Edith Leonard, were married in July, 1896, at Brockton, Mass.
The Secretary is indebted to George E. Miner, 32 Liberty St., New York, for the clipping about Earle printed above. Miner was in Boston for a day recently, and took time to call on the Secretary and other classmates.
Mr. and Mrs. James A. Wellman have announced the engagement of their daughter Dorothy, Vassar '24, to Robert P. Burroughs, Dartmouth '2l and Tuck School '22, of Exeter, N. H. Mr. Burroughs is a son of the late Sherman Burroughs of the class of '94. During the world war he was a pilot in the Army Air Service.
