A volume "New Hampshire Sesqui-Centennial Celebration—One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Establishment of Independent Government," compiled by the Secretary of the Commission, and published by the Commission has appeared as a volume of 95 pages. This book contains brief addresses by George H. Moses '9O, Leslie P. Snow 'B6, Albert O. Brown 78, Fred H. Brown 'O3 and Ernest W. Butterfield '97.

"Training in Citizenship" by Roy Winthrop Hatch 'O2 has been published by Charles Scribners Sons. This book will be reviewed in a later issue of the magazine.

Alec K. Laing '25 is the author of poems which have been appearing in the Independent for July 17th, and the Midland for December. Poems by Mr. Laing will appear in future numbers of Contemporary Verse, The Bookman, The Stratford Magazine and Voices. In addition he is a regular contributor of light verse to the Nezv Yorker and College Humor.

"Twelve One-Act Plays" with introduction by Walter Prichard Eaton contains a play "Copy" by Kendall Banning 'O2 and Harold Kellock.

Professor N. M. Grier, formerly of the Departments of Biology and Evolution, is the author of "The Hitchcock Lecture upon Ichnology and the Dartmouth College Ichnological Collection" reprinted from the American Midland Naturalist, Volume X, Number 7.

Professor Frederick H. Adler, formerly of the Department of German and now professor of English at Adelbert College, Western Reserve, is a member of the Advisory Board of Foot Prints, a bi-monthly poetry magazine published in Cleveland. In Number 2 of Volume I, two of his translations appear, one entitled "Autumn" from the Bohemian and one entitled "Edone" from the German by Klopstock.

Dr. Waltman Walters '17 is the author, with Jesse L. Bollman, M.D., of "Experimental Acute Gastric Fistula" reprinted from the Archives of Surgery, October 1926, Volume XIII, pages 578-587.

Coach Diettrich and the Winter Sports Team
