At Williamstown June 19 Van Riper again took up the Dartmouth pitching and in this encounter had the edge on Ferris of Williams. Two Dartmouth runs in the fourth inning started the day's scoring, when with two men out Picken singled, Stevens connected for a long three base hit and Michelini bunted to score Stevens. In the fifth inning as in the eighth inning additional Dartmouth runs were scored to bring the Green total to four, while Williams was able to gather but two runs.
