Canfield Hadlock, son of A. E. Hadlock, received his master's degree from the College at Commencement.
Prof. G. P. Bacon's younger daughter, Ruth Elizabeth, graduated in June from Radcliffe with the degree of A. B. magna cum laude in government. She has a Carnegie fellowship to study in Cambridge University, England, for the coming year. Prof. Bacon, who has a halt year's leave of absence from his duties at Tufts College, and Mrs. Bacon will accompany their daughter abroad and after a period of travel on the Continent will make their headquarters at Cambridge. The elder daughter, Dorothy, has been promoted to an assistant professorship at Smith College.
Mrs. Frank John Urquhart announces the marriage of her daughter Jean to Mr. John Theodore Hieber. The wedding service was performed at Newark, N. J., on June 23, 19-8. They will make their home at Towanda, Pa., after September 1.
