A good crowd was on hand, as usual, for Dartmouth Night festivities.Clem Malin,Ken Bridge, Cube Conroy, Wally Pugh, and Howard Sodokoff were among those leading the class at the annual parade. DickWhitney, Noel Sankey, Boone Blieler, TexFridlund, and Dick Taylor (avec chien) showed for the class meeting the next morning.
During the meeting, Clem announced that Tiny Strong and some 15 others from the class had attended ceremonies in Burlington, Mass., at which a mini-park was dedicated to the memory of Snake Dilorio. Clem also read a letter from Tom Harper telling of the achievements of our current class scholar, David Carter '88. An engineering major with an A average, David spent last winter with the LSA program in Toulouse, plays sax with the Barbary Coast, manages the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and works part-time in Collis to help cover expenses. In his spare moments, presumably, he studies. Keep up the good work, David!
During the weekend, the Hood Museum displayed a remarkable collection of alumni-owned works "From Titian to Sargent." Especially noteworthy were two bronze models by Auguste Rodin. These, along with Toulouse-Lautrec's "Divan Ja- Japonaise," were on loan from the collection of Hal Gordon.
After the Yale game, we all retired to the Sheraton to drown our sorrows. Met the Malins' guests from Keene, Frank and Sally Plummer, she being the sister of Jim Decker '53, a Charleston cohort of mine.
Howie Sodokoff hopes that we will increase our Alumni Fund support this year at all levels and take advantage of every opportunity for matching gifts, an area which Wally Pugh will be overseeing.JackTamagni is our major gifts chairman, BobFaulkner is striving for greater breadth and depth of participation, Jack Billhardt heads the bequests and trusts program, and RickWorrell is our fraternity coordinator. Please give them your attention and support, if you have not already done so. It was good to see in the Alumni Fund 1987 Annual Report that Bob Faulkner was among those who received the Chairman's Citation for Outstanding Service. Well deserved.

John Parke recently sent a copy of the November DAM, featuring Jack Crowley's now familiar VW. John's caption: "Great Car, Great Photo, Great Reunion, Great Head." Guess whose still slightly hirsute head that is, just astern of Jack's bug? Great head!
