Miss Hope Gregory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Fenno Gregory of Newton Center, Mass., was married October fourth in the First Baptist church of Newton Center to Mr. Courtney Freeland Bird. "The New American Literature" by Fred Lewis Pattee, a history of American literature from 1890 to the present time, will be published by the Century Company on October 25.
