INTERCOLLEGIATE D. O. C.
DECEMBER 1930 Craig Thorn, Jr.

The Dartmouth Outing Club has long hoped to connect New England college outing clubs more closely through intercollegiate hikes. This fall has seen the actual carrying out of this dream. On successive weekends members of Cabin and Trail played host along the D. O. C. trails to hikers from Amherst, Bates, M. A. C., and Yale. In reciprocation D. O. C. men were guests at the Yale Outing Club cabin during the Y-D football weekend and at the Williams Outing Club a few weeks later. The D. O. C. as a virtual parent to these smaller clubs is glad to offer them the enjoyment of the White Mountains and the encouragement of seeing to what length a college outdoor organization can go.
