The bit of news that I should give you this month is about the Alumni Fund.

You have all received notices from' Hanover and from Johnnie Pell, and yet there are a lot of you who have not replied. Some of us are unable to contribute this year. But there is not one in the class who cannot afford the necessary two cents to write Johnnie a letter. His is a thankless job. Help him out with some sort of a reply.

The Boston chapter of Balmacaau is opening the drive for our Fifteenth with a dinner at the University Club this week Saturday, April 12. Other gatherings in various sections of the country will follow. Start to make your plans now for that week in Hanover a year from this June. Not one of us can afford to miss it. If you doubt this, ask any of the gang who were there four years ago.

Rog Evans writes that he has moved his family to 161 Chestnut St., Boston. Rog is one of the hard workers for the class, now that he is located again this side of China.

The Ernie Cutlers have added to their young family. The third and most recent addition they have named Betsey Jane. Betsey joined them on the third of March.

Max Bernkopf has been named to aid Attorney General Warner in Boston in the Garrett inquiry. I'll not go into the details of the Garrett case other than to mention that it is the most active row in the bean town at the moment.

Jack English has just joined Moody's Investment Service as their New England manager, with offices at 45 Milk St., The old Irishman is plowing right along nowadays.

Via Johnnie Pell we learn that Hap Ward of Buffalo is shoving off for a vacation in the South. This is the first word we have heard from Hap in years.

Send me in some news. But first of all send Johnnie that contribution.
