John P. Clifford has been away from Randolph since January 25 on a well-earned vacation. Two months were passed in Florida. The Secretary received from him a letter dated March 15 from Rochester, Minn., stating that he expected to return about April 1. The letter-head recites a formidable list of institutions, which apparently have gathered about the renowned Mayos. John's ancient habit of following the times and keeping up to the minute appears to be incorrigible.
