The freshman basketball team has annihilated three opponents Hanover High, Tilton and K. U. A., by tremendous scores. All of them are in the 50's and 60's, which provide a good workout at best for the yearling team. I should like to see the freshman basketball team play a little League schedule, but I suppose the expense account could not hold such a slate. A young fellow by the name of Bonniwell seems to be the outstanding man on the team, for he regularly scores twenty points and over in each game.
The indoor track season has not yet had any meets, but many men are out in every event, and Eddie De Courcey is the authority for the statement that Dartmouth will be one-two-three in the high jump when the triangular games with Harvard and Cornell roll around. We watched Cal Milans top six-three in the high jump, so he is setting a fast pace.
Several odds and ends to be cleared up: E. K. Hall is not in favor of any drastic rule changes for football next year, according to a speech he made Dolly Stark, despite the fact that the National League is cutting down the umpires, will retain his job Bill Cunningham was the first college outsider who was ever invited to spend the night with the Harvard football team before the Yale game Dartmouth's track team is going to California July 8 and 9, and will stay at Berkeley we hope to be with them Myles Lane and Eddie Jeremiah are two of the three college hockey players in the professional Leaguesand both are doing well Doug Everett, of hockey fame at Dartmouth, has been selected as a member of the Olympic team as has Jack Shea, the sensational sophomore speed skater.
