Thayer has suffered a rather severe attack of laryngitis and has been too ambitious to get back to the bench again, but has finally decided to take some time off mainly for rest and recuperation. He expects to be back to his duties before this item is off the press.

John King has been in a hospital in Fort Myers, Fla., for three or four weeks. Toxine poisoning is the cause. He is getting along well and expects to return to Malone when he is well again. John has been playing golf this year as a beginner. He is just getting mature enough for that sport.

Tom Flint is following the even tenor of his ways—likewise Pete Dame.

A recent communication from Joe Wilson states that he is in a hospital in Hollister, Calif., with a slight indisposition from which he expects a speedy recovery.

The Secretary would like to hear something from all the boys, if it is not so smart or even out of the ordinary. He will be glad to broadcast it through Chelsea, Vermont, station.
