Henry S. Beal, son of Mart A. Beal of our class, has recently been elected president of the Sullivan Machinery Company of Chicago and Claremont, N. H., with headquarters in Chicago. Beal was two years in Dartmouth in the class of 1910, and later studied a year in Germany. He had been connected with the Jones and Lamson Machine Company of Springfield, Vt., since 1909, for several years past as general manager. He has been prominent in the activities of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and is now president of the National Tool Builders' Association.
