In the annual election of sectional representatives to the Dartmouth Alumni Council there is this year only one contest. Two men were nominated for the membership to be left vacant by the further ineligibility of Robert Edward Keeler 'll, now of St. Louis, in June upon the completion of his first term. Mr. Keeler formerly lived in Cleveland, Ohio. He had represented that city on the Council as one of the three members from the Central States District.
The election contest is between William Hay Bemis 'lB of Cleveland and Pord Hopkins Whelden '25 of Detroit. The election of one of these candidates in the contest ending June 10 carries membership on the Council for a term of three years from June 30.
The members of the Council chosen in the other districts of the country are: ARTHUR A. ADAMS '94, reelected from New England States District.
RICHARD REMSEN 'l2, reelected from Middle and Southern States District.
WILLIAM A. GREEN JR. 'l4, elected for first term from Western States District. FRANK J. REAGAN 'O9, elected for first term from Rocky Mountain and Pacific States District.
The annual Commencement meetings of the Council will be held in Hanover, Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18. The sessions will be held in the new Tuck School as the first step in arranging the annual meetings for various locations in the new buildings.
