First Plates Arrive
MAY 1932

The first shipment of Dartmouth Plates arrived in Boston from the Royal Cauldon plant in England the first of last month. This consignment of first edition plates was immediately sent to subscribers in the order in which their applications were received by the Bursar's Office of the College. It is expected that the entire first edition will be received from the manufacturers within a short time. Shipment to subscribers by express prepaid will be made as soon as plates are received here.

Orders for the second edition may now be placed. These sets will be exactly the same as first edition plates except for the omission of the miniature replica of the library weathervane as reproduced on the reverse side of each plate in the original edition. Subscriptions should be sent to the Bursar of Dartmouth College, accompanied by a deposit of $5 toward the price of $l5 for the set of 12 plates. No assurance is given as to the date of delivery of the second edition. Subscribers will receive sets as soon as they are received in this country.
