Judge H. S. Richardson, together with Mrs. Richardson, of Claremont, N. H., made a delightful trip to Bermuda during the month of April. Judge Richardson has long deserved this outing, which he reports being most interesting and which gave him a long earned vacation.

The class will be most interested to learn that Henry C. Whitaker, son of our own classmate, was most active in the freshman class last year. He has been a prominent football and basketball player and was elected captain of the freshman basketball team last winter. In the spring he was elected president of his class.

The Manchester Union of March 13 had a cut of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin W. Couch, accompanied by Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Graves, as the party posed for the photographer on board the S. S. Kungsholm, bound for a cruise through the Caribbean Sea.

Professor Charles A. Jaquith was very active in the recent inaugural of a new president of Talladega College. As most of the class know, Jaquith handles the English courses, as weH as some theological matters, at the college.

Your Secretary, together with Mrs. Richardson, spent about four months at Southern Pines the past winter. We motored leisurely both ways, stopping at various cities, not only to get rested, but to take in the various interesting features of the places. While in Washington, we visited the grave of William M. Gay in Arlington Cemetery, which is located very near that of the Unknown Soldier. At Southern Pines we enjoyed the sand hills of the surrounding country, including Pinehurst, only a few miles away.
