Jay Bruemmer has joined the B. C. Porter Sons, Inc. Company which was originally founded by his great-grandfather. The New Britain, Conn., firm elected Jay at its annual meeting in February. Until this appointment, Jay had been with Landers, Frary and Clark in various positions since 1948, his last job being as national sales manager of the commercial and institutional division for the United States and Canada. Jay is a member of the South Congregational Church, the Shuttle Meadow Country Club, the Dartmouth Club of Central Connecticut, the National Sales Executive Club, and the Harmony Lodge F&AM. You can address him and his wife at 34 Wightman Road in New Britain - Congrats, Jay. ... Also in the Bay State over in Brockton, CraigFleming has become co-editor and co-publisher of the Silver Lake News, a weekly town publication. Craig has been a career newspaperman starting with the Boston Herald and later joining the Cape Cod Standard-Times in Hyannis. He had returned to the Herald and was with them for some time as a staff reporter before his latest venture as an entrepreneur. Craig and his wife and four children live on Centre Street in Brockton. ... Chuck Denneen has been appointed as assistant secretary by the Royal-Globe Insurance Company in Philadelphia. In his new job Chuck will have administrative supervision of personnel. He has been with the Royal-Globe since 1946, "nd was named manager of the personnel department in 1956.

Larry Kidder of Lima, Ohio, has left the old home town to go to Sharpsburg, Ky where we understand he is a "gentleman" farmer Dr. Larry Carpenter is in Pnint Arena, Calif and another of our medics Dr. Cliff Lull is living in Braddock Heights, Md Ed Sly is an assistant buyer for the S. S. Kresge Company in Detroit and lives at 2732 Biddle, Wyandotte, Mich . ... Last but not least, George Wade is still in the Air Force doing civil engineering work and is living at 901 Bragg Circle, Tullahoma, Tenn.
