William E. Marden is slowly convalescing from an injury to the leg received in December from a falling apple tree which he was removing from his premises. For a month he has been getting about only by aid of canes and crutches.

The class is well represented this season in the summer colonies of Florida, the Newtons sojourning at Orlando, the (E. 8.) Frosts and the Wardwells at St. Petersburg.

Harry Burley and the Secretary were the only members of the class attending the Boston alumni dinner.

William P. Kelly, headmaster of Rutgers Preparatory School, New Brunswick, N. J., after nearly a quarter of a century's service, has resigned his position for reasons of health. Coming to the position after twenty-five years' experience in private and public school work in New England, Mr. Kelly brought to the institution an administrative experience which has been releeted in its growth. Under his guidance the three buildings which housed the school have been supplemented by four campus dormitories, a gymnasium, a dining hall, and a headmaster's house. He also inaugurated the cottage system, patterned after that of Eton, England, which gives the students an atmosphere of home. It is not surprising that the board of trustees accepted his resignation with regret and granted him leave of absence until the end of the academic year. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly will retain their residence at New Brunswick, spending their winters in the South and their summers in Vermont.

Secretary, Rochester, N. H.
