The class of 1907 won the attendance cup at the New York Dartmouth alumni dinner on January 18 for the fifth consecutive time. In fact '07 has won it every year since it was offered by the class of 1879.

The class of '07 was represented at the New York dinner by E. B. Barker, Sam Bartlett, M. S. Howard, W. M. Leighton, Charlie McKendree, Bill Minsch, Tom Perry, Morris Smith, Harry Storrs, Ben Washburn, and H. S. Whitaker. George Howard and Doc Nolan were expected but unable to attend.

Charlie McKendree's son Charles is at Choate School, Wallingford, Conn., and will enter Dartmouth next September.

The Secretary has enjoyed a brief note from our classmate Rev. J. H. Cone, who has a ministry in Onaga, Kansas.

The class of 1907 was represented at the annual Boston alumni dinner on January 20 by Mayor George Dalrymple, A. E. Stevens, Guy Merrill, Bill Smart, Bishop Niles, Bob Kenyon, Sam Hale, and Dick Lane.

We are indebted to Mr. J. P. Houston, secretary of the class of '84, for the latest news about our classmate Harry Romayne. The Elmira Star Gazette of January 6, 1934, says, "Professor Harry C. Romayne wasinstalled president of the Kiwanis Clubfor 1934 by the retiring president." Mr. Houston writes that Romayne is principal of one of the best schools in Elmira, is very popular and considered one of the best teachers in the city. He is a leader in the Kiwanis Club and a tall story-teller of first caliber.

We have just learned that Evangeline Given was married to Jonathan Piper in Boston on July 13, 1933.

Louville F. Niles, son of Bishop, and a junior, has recently been appointed to the editorial staff of The Dartmouth.

A recent edition of the Boston Transcript states that "Niles Management, Inc.,with offices at 44 School St., Boston, and1568 Commonwealth Ave., Brighton, haswon recognition for its successful managementof apartment houses, hotels, and business properties in Greater Boston. Theorganization was founded and has beendeveloped by Harold L. Niles, and hasbeen built upon the personal experience ofMr. Niles over a period of more thantwenty-five years in property ownershipand management."

Ted Redington believes that "things arelooking up a little and we can look forwardto a pretty good year." We think he's right!
