It is with regret that we report that we have recently heard of the deaths o£ Bill Andres' and Mort Jaquith's fathers. We know that they will both be missed by many of our classmates.

Bob Monahan has been named chairman of the Resources, Recreation and Development Committee of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

Ben Stacey has been elected vice president of the First National Bank of Boston by the bank's board of directors. Ben is associated with the business development division, in charge of the business research department. He is also editor of the bank's "New England Letter" and "New England Trends." In addition, he is head of the economics department of Northeastern University's Evening School of Business and trustee and treasurer of the New England Economic Education Council.

Ray Talbott was elected president of the Stamford Federal Savings & Loan Association at the annual organization meeting of the board of directors. Ray joined the Federal Savings in 1941 and prior to his election as president of the Association served as its executive vice president and secretary. He continues as the managing officer of the company, which post he has held since January, 1956. He has been a director since 1950.

John Brown Cook, president of the Whitney Blake Co. of Hamden, Conn., was elected a director of the Union & New Haven Trust Co. at the annual meeting of stockholders. John Brown is also a director of the New Haven Chamber of Commerce, and the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, a trustee of Hamden Hall Country Day School, and a past president and trustee of the Library of International Relations in Chicago. We have also just learned that John Brown is chairman for the New Haven area program of the 1959 general canvass phase of the College's 200 th Anniversary Development Program.
