The Dartmouth lacrosse team closed its five-game schedule at Hanover on May 19 with an impressive 6-3 victory over Harvard. The victory gave Tommy Dent's club three wins and two losses for the season, and helped erase the disappointment caused by Syracuse's 11-6 interruption of Dartmouth's undefeated collegiate record since 1932. Decisions over Yale, 5-4, and Hobart, 10-3, and a defeat at the hands of the Boston Lacrosse Club, 4-3, were also included in the season's record.

After losing to the Boston Lacrosse Club in their opening contest on April 28, the Green stickmen went to New Haven and turned back Yale, 5-4, by means of a late rally in which Henry Allen, Bill McMullen, and Stan Britten played leading roles. McMullen, with two goals, led the Green scorers.

At Syracuse on May 12 the Indians were unable to cope with the revolving attack of their Orange opponents and were outclassed, 11-6. The first half was closely fought, with Syracuse leading 3-2 at the intermission, but not even Allen's three goals were enough to stem the whirlwind attack which Syracuse uncorked in the second half. McMullen and West were again outstanding.

The contest with Hobart at Geneva on May 14 was easy for the Indians, 10-3, and provided a prelude to the Harvard contest. Against the Crimson, Dick Halvorsen, veteran attack man, produced all the scoring of the first half with three goals, and soon after the second half began, McMullen gave the Green a 4-0 load. Harvard then rushed in three goals in about four minutes, to revive the game, but a late Dartmouth rally led by Allen and Jim West again gave the Green team a safe margin. Captain "Babe" Shea, goalie, and Moe Frankel, point, also played prominent parts in the' Indians' final victory.
