THE TABULATION for the ALUMNI MAGAZINE subscribers shown below is very interesting and is one of the best barometers that we have for the trend of interest in the various sectors of Connecticut.

It is good to hear of so many Connecticut alumni planning and reporting trips to Hanover this fall. George Adams 'O9 had a glint in his eye in anticipation of the Bates game. Curt Sheldon '09 and Phil Pelletier '15 had favorable reactions at the Vermont game. All sections of Connecticut had representation at the Norwich game.
1 his is not a Pelletier column, but perhaps it should be such. Phil is doing a nice job, and the result of his serious analysis of the Connecticut situation is simply this: run open house, near New Haven, for the Yale game. It is a little late to make much of a job of it, but the try will be made. I his would give us three major state parties each year, if all plans materialize. The annual meeting in the spring is now working on a reasonably good basis. One mid-summer session at golf seems to be in line for a try next year, rather than one in each area. With seven clubs now participating, one each is much too much. Phil's idea for the fall round-up at the Yale game is the thing to do and perhaps Scott, Gowrie, Adams and a few more of the New Haven group may have the right answer.
Bridgeport alumni and Connecticut in general are deeply concerned over the serious condition of Stan Lonsdale '24. Stan suffered the shock from a three-story fall in Rochester, N. Y. That he is alive and with no bones broken seems a miracle. Word has been received that Stan will leave the hospital in a few days but will be laid up at his home for some time. In the meanwhile, a word from any of his Connecticut alumni friends would help his case. Address: Greens Farms, Conn.
Turn-out for the first meeting at Bridgeport was 46, a party for the new class. To start the year with all the local undergraduates and their Dad's at a round-up, seems of proven worth, and the right way to start a year of alumni activity
The Western Association has their first meeting at Roger Smith Hotel, Stamford, on Friday, October 18th..... Maybe this is the year.
