Dartmouth's varsity cross-country team had a disappointing season this year, losing to Vermont and Middlebury in dual meets, finishing third in the annual Harvard-Dartmouth-New Hampshire meet, and taking fourth in the Harvard Open Intercollegiates. Leading members of the varsity team were Stewart Whitman of New York City, Charles Wyckoff of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and James Wallace of Washington, D. C.
