Doubtless the majority of the readers of this MAGAZINE are mainly concerned with football scores at this season of the year, but members of the class of '94 and care- ful readers of this column, are equally, if not more, interested in the score of attendance at the Matt B. Jones round-up at 30 The Ledges Road in Newton Center, Mass.

As many as sixty different men have attended these round-ups since they began in 1913. In other words, all but about twenty-six of the members of the class have been guests of our good friends Matt and his wife during this period of twenty-three years.

The score for the current gathering, which was held as usual on the evening of the Harvard game, October 23, was twenty-eight. It is customary to give the full list of the men who did the team work that achieved this score—Allen, F. C., Allen, J. E., Ames, Bartlett, R. W., Blakely, Boyd, Burnap, Colby, Griffin, Hall, Ham, Hardy, Hoskins, Hurd, Jones, Knowlton, Lewis, Lyon, McGroty, Marden, Merrill, C. C., Parker, Rollins, W. H., Sawyer, Sherman, Spooner, Stone, E. M., Trow. Perhaps it is fair to say that the rushing was led by Bob Burnap of Chicago, who came the furthest. A very close second to him was Trow of Red Hook, N. Y., who appeared for the first time at one of these round-ups. Another man who should get honorable mention for attendance is Ajax Rollins, the only man to show up from New York City.

One could use up a good deal of space in telling of the delight of this occasion and of the hospitality of Matt and his wife. For those who have been there it is enough to say that in every way the round-up retained the characteristics of previous years.
