At the round-up on the eve of the Harvard game (October 25th), at the Brae Burn Country Club off Commonwealth Avenue in West Newton, fourteen men were present as follows: Allen, F. C., Ames, Colby, Griffin, Hall, Hurd, Knowlton, Lewis, Lyon, McGroty, Marden, Merrill, C. C., Parker, Smalley, B. A. The place, personally selected and guaranteed by Albert M. Lyon, proved to be a very happy choice. True the recital of two or three men of their experiences in trying to find the Brae Burn Country Club proved highly diverting. However everyone arrived in due time and without accident. Letters or postals were read from twenty-three absentees. Judging both from what those who attended said and those who did not attend wrote, this annual custom must be maintained.

For years President Allen has provided the flowers that graced these round-ups at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jones. He continued this custom by sending flowers to Mrs. Jones this year.

The group sent the following letter to Mrs. Jones prepared by B. A. Smalley and signed by everyone present:

To Mrs. Matt Bushnell Jones—We of the Class of '94 want you to knowthat you and yours are very much in our, thoughts tonight.

Stout in our knowledge that Matt wouldhave had it so, we carry on a beautifultradition fostered for more than a quartercentury in the gracious hospitality of yourhome.

What lives in our hearts can never die.

Be sure, our dear friend, that now andalways we bring you sincere homage andwery real affection.

Winter addresses are beginning to come in. McGroty is to be at the Gregory Hotel, 'St. Petersburg, Florida. Spooner at 210 'Swoope Avenue, Winter Park, Florida. Lovejoy will likewise be at Winter Park. What about a Florida round-up, boys?

Billy Wallis has left his summer quarters in Hartford, Vermont, and is en route South. He doesn't reveal that he is going further than Washington but who knows but what he also will land in Florida.

Word from Claremont is that Mrs. Rossiter has sold the farm where Charles lived all his life and has bought a smaller house in the thickly settled portion of Clarernont.

Our loyal classmate "Gib" writes from his old stamping ground at Rolling Fork, Mississippi, that his birthday and the national registration day (October 16th) coincided and remarks that it will not be hard hereafter to remember each or both.
