In December last Ev Snow was awarded a medal of honor by Burdett Business College in recognition of fifteen years of efficient service.
The Secretary ran across the tracks of George L. Farley in various parts of the state. Although deprived of his sight,George is carrying on with all his accustomed vigor and strength.
In a recent note from "Bill" Hewes he states that he had a visit with Lockwood in Naco, Arizona, in December, and during the Christmas week ran into Pete Adams in Washington, D. C. Bill's children are all busy. Lawrence I. Jr., Dartmouth '24, is in Washington, D. C., as assistant administrator with Dr. Tugwell. He has a son, Lawrence I. Hewes III. Mary C. Hewes, Mills '25, is now Mrs. Theodore W. Michels and lives in San Marino, Calif. John A. Hewes is an engineer with the Portland, Oregon, office of the U. S. Bureau of Public Roads. David D. Hewes, Dartmouth '31, is a graduate student at the University of California. Calhoun S. Hewes is a senior at the St. John's Military Academy at Delafield, Wis.
Ich Crane and wife have gone to Miami Beach, Fla., for two months. They are at the Barclay-Plaza hotel, but expect to take an apartment.
Ted Leggett was good enough to send me some information about C. E. Clark's children. One of his daughters is married and they have two small boys. Two of his children are in Michigan State College. The oldest son secured his A.M. in history from Harvard and expects to be located in the history department of the State College in Michigan for the year 1936.
Dick Marcy and wife have gone South for the winter.
