Ernest A. Abbott, Los Angeles, Calif., died October 25, 1935. "Rab" came to college from Randolph, Vt. He was one of the '99er pioneers in the Far West, where he was active in investment and real estate enterprises. A more detailed obituary will appear at a later date.

Howland, brillant son of Mott Sargeant, late Rhodes scholar in Oxford, has returned to the United States and is now located in Washington in the government service.

James P. Richardson and partner were winners for the second consecutive year of the prize cup at the annual meeting of the American Whist League in New York, January 21. Jim and Mrs. Richardson leave Hanover on February 8 for California and Hawaii, where they will spend the winter, returning to Washington, D. C., to spend April. Jim is a candidate for delegate to the Republican National Convention in the Second N. H. Congressional District. Good luck, Jim.

The thirty-sixth annual round-up of the class will be held at the University Club, Boston, Saturday, March 7, at 6:00 P.M. No '99er within reach and physically able to get there will miss it. It's the high light of the '99 year.
