Ruth Easterday (beautiful name), daughter of L. V. Haskell, sends a note indicating her father's interest in class correspondence, though he now contributes little to it, and enclosing a check from her father for class use.

George Goodhue retired from major surgery on his eightieth birthday, but he continues to practice otherwise. Like a wise general he took up a position which could be defended. He has been practicing in Dayton, Ohio, over fifty-two years.

At the dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Boston at the Chamber of Commerce, January 20, apparently only four alumni were present from classes earlier than 'Bo, Parkhurst '78, Deane '77, and Hardison and Piper '76. Deane spent the college year of '72-'73 in the class of '76. He retired from the Massachusetts state engineering force eleven years ago by limitation. Since that time he has served ten years on the board of selectmen for the town of Norwell, Mass.
