Advance programs for Commencement June 12-15 will soon be mailed to all members of reuning classes, which this year include 1876, 1881, 1886, 1891, 1896, 1901, 1906, 1911, 1916, 1921, 1926, and 1931. The Fifty-Year Class, this year 1886, will according to custom occupy the place of honor at the Alumni Luncheon to be given by the Trustees to the graduating class and alumni on Saturday noon, June 13, at the gymnasium.
The principal events on the 1936 program follow: Thursday, June 11Evening: Meeting of the Board of Trustees at Hanover.
Friday, June 12
Arrival and registration of alumni, Commencement guests, and parents of seniors and meeting of the Alumni Council. Evening: Reception by President and Mrs. Hopkins for seniors and their guests, alumni, and faculty, to be followed by the Commencement Ball.
Saturday, June 13
Class Day exercises to be held in the morning, Alumni Luncheon at noon, followed by the baseball game with Cornell in the afternoon. Evening: Reunion class dinners and performance by The Players.
Sunday, June 14
Baccalaureate address by Boynton Merrill '15, D.D., and Valedictory by President Hopkins will be delivered in the morning, reunion class outings and picnics held in the afternoon, and a concert by the Musical Clubs in the evening
Monday, June 15
Graduation exercises, including the conferring of honorary degrees, will be held in the Bema (or Webster Hall) in the morning.
If the weather is fair the Commencement exercises will be held in the Bema for the fifth consecutive.year. There is ample unreserved space for all who wish to attend and alumni are cordially invited.
