Fifty-four men, wives and daughters gathered at the Hanover Inn on the October 6-7-8 weekend for a most successful "off year" reunion. 1914 joined us in the Tavern Friday night for dinner and on Saturday night we were by ourselves. Bart and RenzaShepard's talks on Friday night, and the new movie of Alan Jr., were the highlights of the weekend. Here is a letter from Bill Terry: Dear Classmates:

The interim reunion held in Hanover October 6, 7, and 8 was a real success and in behalf of all those present, I want to express our thanks to Warde Wilkins. He made all the arrangements with the Hanover Inn, and we were really treated royally. He also arranged for a guided tour of the new Hopkins Center and for President Dickey to join us on that tour.

To make the party complete he prevailed upon Bart and Renza Shepard to give us their personal story of Alan Jr.'s selection as the first astronaut and their innermost feelings over his participation in that great adventure.

Only a man with a deep sense of loyalty to his class would devote so much of his time and energy to making such an affair a success, but it is in keeping with what he has been doing for us all these many years.

Many thanks, Warde, for a job well done.

Bill Terry
