Word has recently come that Mrs. Timothy Bagley is living at 127 Maynard Road, Framingham Centre. After Tim's death she adopted a little girl who has now gotten to be a young lady, Elizabeth Bagley.
These be eventful days in the annals of the Matt Bushnell Jones family. Matt Bushnell 111, arrived September 10, 1939. This means that Matt Jr. has three children. Word was sent to the class last June of the arrival of William Sumner Babcock, whose mother is the former Catherine Bushnell Jones, but his advent has not been previously announced in this column.
Quincy and Mary Blakely spent some time in New Hampshire last summer. They reported forgathering with the Claggetts and the Phillipses.
Sometimes a man has to get sick in order to have people tell how much they think of him. One of the Secretary's correspondents in Meriden, N. H. in telling him about our own Robert Penniman's illness, from which he seems to be recovering, made this comment:
"He is so valuable to us that we hope he will use caution so that we may have the benefits of his advice for some time to come."
Mrs. Arthur A. Adams in acknowledg- ing the Report of the Forty-Fifth, speaks about her summer at Kennebunk Beach, Maine, where she has a cottage and has her daughters and their families with her. "For three weeks I had all five grandchildren with me. I was very busy but very happy." "Mr. and Mrs. Sherman and their daughter called on us one morning. They were on route to Lake Sebago for their vacation."
The marriage of Helen Augusta Rollins, youngest daughter of our classmate Ajax to William Henry Gould took place at Elmsford, N. Y. the thirtieth of September. They are living in White Plains. Mrs. Rollins is with her oldest daughter in White Plains, at 33 Benedict Avenue.
