Carter Hoyt was one of the several who sent me clippings about Jim Hamilton's groing to Cleveland.

° The Art Stewarts paid a visit to Bill Shirley in Brooklyn recently en route to Washington. Bill calls attention to the fact that Captain Mordecai J. B. Ezekiel of Company B, S.A.T.C., has worked out in book form a plan to assure every family $2,500 a year.

Nort Younglove has filed with the Alumni Records Office the information that he is living at 1304 North Yakima Ave., Tacoma, Wash., and is in business at 705 Dock St. This is the first news from Nort in several years.

Bugs Crosby is acting as an officer at a CCC camp at March Field, Calif.

The Oxford University Press has published "The Command of the Howe Brothers During the American Revolution" by Troyer S. Anderson. The advertisements described the book as "an examination ofthe British command under Lord Howeand Sir William Howe, which reveals theextent to which their conduct affected thefinal defeat of Great Britain in this country.The book illuminates a problem previoushistorians have failed to solve, namely, whyGreat Britain, with overwhelming forces,did not subdue the revolution." The book costs $3.50 and may be procured from Oxford University Press, 114 Fifth Ave., New York. At the time of writing, your scribe has not seen a review of this book, but is very sure that it is a substantial achievement.

Herb West has bought from Jim Hamilton a house lot lying at the right just as you enter Hanover from the Junk, and proposes to build a house on modern design.
