THE DARTMOUTH Alumni Association of Westchester County, N. Y., sponsored a concert by the Dartmouth Glee Club on March 30th. Several meetings of the general committee and officers of the association were held and it was decided to eliminate the annual spring dinner meeting and accept the proposal made by the Glee Club. Warren C. Agry '11, our capable and popular president, induced Bob Newfang '32 to assume the duties of chairman of the committee in charge of the entertainment and W. P. Knickerbocker '33 agreed to take charge of publicity. Due in large measure to the able way in which they organized and carried out the work the entertainment was very successful. They were assisted by Sumner D. Kilmarx '22, H. H. Harwood '26, Jim Landaur '23, Dick Kershaw '23 and Win Weser '23 who did a great deal of work and by all of the members of the general committee of the association. The committee planned a dinner dance at the Westchester Country Club, Rye, N. Y. This was followed by the Glee Club concert and dance.

One hundred and eighteen attended the dinner dance and there were 290 at the concert. Music for the dinner dance and for the dance after the concert was furnished by the Barbary Coast orchestra. The Glee Club concert and the music by the Barbary Coast orchestra were very favorably received. It was a real Dartmouth party and we owe a great deal to our president and Bob Newfang for the large amount of time and effort which they contributed in order to make the party a real success. There is a rapidly growing interest in the association and the officers are hopeful that a program can be worked out for the coming year that will stimulate a great deal of interest among the alumni who reside in Westchester. Our president is planning a meeting of the general committee to be held during May at which time several matters will be discussed which should be of great interest to the alumni.
