Mrs. Elizabeth (Washburn) Worthen, widow of Professor T. W. D. Worthen, died August 16 at her home in Winchester, Mass., at the age of 86 years. Mrs. Worthen was the daughter of Peter T. Washburn, Dartmouth 1835, governor of Vermont at the time of his death in 1870, and mother of Dr. Thacher W. Worthen '07 and Joseph W. Worthen '09.
