Flora M. (Barrett), wife of Rev. Franklin M. Chapin, died August 25 at their home in Manhattan, Kans., after a brief illness. This is a heavy blow to her husband, who is himself in feeble health. They had been married 59 years.
The Necrology contains notices of the death of two of the class, Deane and Wilcox. Deane, one of our oldest members, was active until the last. He was one of the most faithful attendants at our class reunions. Wilcox left us early in the course, and later went to Yale and completed his course. He was seldom heard from except in the briefest way, and acknowledged that his real loyalty was to Yale.
