By this time you all know that Rex Malmquist is our new treasurer. Keep him hard at work crediting your checks for dues and ALUMNI MAGAZINE subscriptions. Rex says that the sooner you send your checks the more certain you are of not missing any of the issues.

The class will be interested to know that Rex has recently been promoted to principal of the Norwalk, Conn. High School.

Your Secretary has been overwhelmed with the number of responses to the "dope sheet" recently mailed to all 'Twoters, and every mail is bringing more. In analyzing the first returns it has been very interesting to read the ideas, suggestions and criticisms, nearly all of which are constructive, that have been made. It is my thought to answer as many of these letters as possible and eventually to submit a digest for the further consideration of the class.

It is not possible in this issue to list everyone that has been heard from but at random here are some high lights:

Ben Wilson reports spending his vacation in Hanover—lucky dog!

Bob Cate reports that his son is apply, ing for admission to the College in the class of '45. Bob Jr. may take the second prize but Bruce Cunningham's son is in first position by having entered the College as a freshman this fall.

Jim Hamilton, now superintendent of the New Haven (Conn.) Hospital, leads the singing for the local Rotary Club. Do you all remember the combination of Jim and Dick Willis at our Fifteenth reunion picnic!

Your Secretary spent a hurried but pleasant half hour with Harvey Moses and Bob Baldwin in Springfield recently, Harvey is an executive of a local bank and Bob is reported setting the insurance world on fire.

Regan and Lois Brown proudly talk about their new daughter, Jacqueline.

Don Powell wants to know what has become of Tracy Hatch. Our G men report that Tracy is still holding forth at North River Farms, Marshfield, Mass. Don, a New York lawyer, lives at 18 Belgrade Terrace, West Orange, N. J.

Charlie Townsend, my room-mate in the old S.A.T.C. days, writes in from Warren, Vt. where he is managing his own advertising service.

Charlie "Dick" Tapley, insurance broker in Boston, reports himself present and accounted for and anticipating class gatherings in that area.

With whom is the "oompah" horn associated? Right the first time! Bob Hight, of course. His letter from Portland, Me., says that the Portland Harbor fog horn is running his own instrument a close race. Bob is all set for our Twentieth reunion in '42.

Sam Sparhawk, Burlington, Vt., extends his sympathy to your Secretary in view of a similar position which he holds with his local medical society.

A letter from Nig Hayes speaks of the fine summer holiday which he and his family enjoyed with Chuck Vose and family cruising in Alaskan waters—scenery and fishing were superb.

Your Secretary has recently communicated with about thirty men, selected with an eye to geographical location and previous assistance in Alumni Fund matters, asking that they serve as a permanent liaison committee for the purpose of developing more frequent contacts within the class. At this writing many have accepted and the arrangement, it is felt, will be of substantial assistance to your secretary in class matters.

Killie Kilmarx tells of an interesting commission which he fulfilled this summer for the furnishing and decorating of a large London house. Killie and his wife returned to this country just before war was declared and learned that the home was evacuated and dismantled after only two weeks of occupancy.

Your Secretary has recently received word of the death of Joe Herren. Our deepest sympathy goes to Joe's family.

The formation of the North Shore Dartmouth Club is reported by Steve Tredennick. Nick Carter is an officer as well as Dan Ruggles 'si, the famous and beloved top sergeant (1918) of Company I.

Max Budnitz reports on the Springfield, Mass. situation; he is hoping for a candidate for the class of i960 in the near future.

Bill Morrell's new address is Rahway Road, R. F. D. No. 2, Plainfield, N. J.

Your Secretary's apologies to Ransom Wallace for neglecting to include his name with those of Cliff Watson and Charlie Hart as 'Twoters resident in Southbridge, Mass. Ransom is with the American Optical Cos. there.

Other reports have come from Tom Barrows, President of Lawrence College, U. Auger, Harry Wellman, Joe Woods and Spic Saunders.

Lots more news in the next issue! See you next month.
