Well, how do you like it? And just think, eight more fat juicy issues to come after this one all for the price of threefifty. By the way, have you mailed that check to Gus? If we didn't already tip the scales at 170 lbs., we'd say that if the first two issues haven't already convinced you that your three-fifty is well spent you can send us your shirt or a reasonable facsimile and we'll eat it. Seriously, though, it gives your scribe a grand and glorious feeling to know that this MAGAZINE is being read by some three hundred and sixty members of the Class.

Bob Birch writes from Minneapolis: "I've been out here since last November, and have gone through temperatures of 22 below to 99 above. This is a marvelous state, in many ways surpassing New Hampshire. 11,700 lakes, forests, rivers and up north trails that run for hundreds of miles. In my job as sales promotion manager of Powers, a medium sized store, I've had a big kick trying to promote the state as a vacation land, in an attempt to keep westerners from going to either Fair. So far it's been swell, though I'm rather worn on Mondays after driving from 300 to 450 miles every Sunday. I've covered 1800 miles (as of June 6) within the state in the past five Sundays, and the dang state has 17,000 miles of road, so by next year I should be fairly versed in Minnesota highways and byways."
