THERE WAS LITTLE ACTIVITY in this sector over the summer due to the fact that we are so scattered it is hard to choose a date when everyone can get together. It seems as though five or six of the gang always pick the same vacation period.
However, we did manage to stage our annual picnic on September 7 at Lee Bausher's ('21) farm near Hamburg. At this writing about 35 people have stated they would attend. Next month your secretary will give you a full report on the activities.
Bill Bucher '32 has been transferred to the Baltimore office of the Bethlehem Steel Cos. and is thus lost from our group. Like- wise lost is Lee Jamison '25 who sold his I radio business to move out into the wild and woolly west. On the other hand, we welcome Phil Gould '24, S. S. Kresge Cos., Allentown; Al Doolittle '36, 730 Walnut I St., Allentown; Allen Thurn '25, 40 W. Elizabeth Ave., Bethlehem; Bill Cummings, mining department, Bethlehem Steel, Bethlehem; Jim Carpenter '40, 1335 Howard Ave., Pottsville. We hope to see all these boys at the next meeting.
Os Skinner '28 has just changed jobs and is now with the Van Dyne Oil Cos. in Troy, Pa.
