IF THE SPIRIT and number of men present at our first postwar meeting was an indication of things to come, we shall have some whooping good times at future events. No less than nineteen members and one guest enjoyed an evening of fun and frolic at the Wyomissing Club in Reading on January 25.

The business session was brief. In the following order we decided: 1. To invite a speaker from Hanover to our next meeting in the Spring. 2. To reinstate dues of $2 a year. 3. To hold an election of officers at the next meeting. For the purpose of item No. 3, President Bud Erdman '37 appointed Bob Ritter 'lB, Andy Marshall '22, and John Moxon '29 as a nominating committee.

Bob Ritter 'lB, our amiable politician who was reelected last November to the Allentown Council together with Bill Deak 'lB of Reading, and Powerhouse Art Zulick 'lB who made the trek from Orwigsburg, held their own version of a reunion of the Class of 'lB. Louis Ekstrom 'l2, Andy Marshall '2a, John McCuiston '4l and George Buckner '43 of Bethlehem Steel settled the steel strike early in the evening, ably supported by John Moxon '29 and Charley Pyewell '34 of Carpenter Steel.

Lt. (jg) Harry Allen '39, a Navy medico was standing by for order; Dude Krum '3B also inactive since his Navy discharge will probably make a connection in Reading in the near future. Jim Reber '2O continues with Kraft Cheese Cos. as district representative. Stan Osgood '36 is handing out all sorts of advice (free, mind you) to returning veterans at Lehigh, and explained to a fairly attentive audience of Val Klopp 'O9, Jim Rick '3l, Bob McHose '32, and Fred Roller '36 just what his job involves. Milt Shultz '3O and Bud Erdman '37 are making those lovely things for lovely legs-NYLONS!

Make a mental note now that a dinner meeting is coming up in March or April- whenever we can secure a speaker from Hanover.

President Dickey will speak in Philadelphia at a dinner on the evening of April 9. If you wish to attend, contact your secretary immediately.
