Tommie Remsen is chairman of the Washington County (N. Y.) Civil Service Commission, and at a recent meeting in Hudson Falls gave a brief history of civil service in the state, reported on the work of the County Commission since its organization last May, and explained the competitive examinations and methods of filling the various groups of classified positions.

Bill Cheever reports that he is back again at the "Allan A" Camps at South Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, getting ready for their summer season, which at this date looks very good to him even in spite of shortage of tires and gasoline.

Frank Cudworth and family have moved to Providence, Rhode Island, as Cuddy is looking after a big contract in that city for the Walsh Company, with whom he has been for many years. The New York crowd will miss him, as he was a regular attendant at all class gatherings.
