PRESIDENT HOPKINS WILL return to Hanover early in April after a three weeks' vacation in Arizona and a nation-wide tour of Dartmouth alumni centers, which opened in New York on February 15 and closed in Atlanta, Ga., on March 30. In addition to New York and Atlanta, he visited Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. While in Los Angeles he attended the annual banquet of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences and presented the Irving Thalberg Award to David O. Selznick, producer of Gone With the Wind.

Before returning to Hanover from Atlanta, President Hopkins will speak at the Boston dinner of Alumni Fund class agents at the University Club on April 1 and at a similar dinner of class agents at the Dartmouth Club in New York on the following evening. He will attend the meetings of the Rockefeller Foundation in New York on April 3, will preside over the meeting there of the General Education Board the following day, and on April 5 will speak at a dinner meeting of counsels of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad at White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.

Upon his return to the College, President Hopkins faces a busy schedule, including the annual Boston alumni dinner on April 12, the trustees' meeting of Andover Academy on April 13, the trustees' meeting of the National Life Insurance Company of Montpelier, Vt., on April 16, a luncheon meeting of the Dartmouth Women's Club of Boston on April 17, and the annual spring meeting of the Danmouth Board of Trustees on April 27.
