Apt. A-1, Madison House 3120 W. School House Lane Philadelphia, Pa. 19144 Secretary,

A highlight of the year's activities occurred on March 28 when Dean Thad Seymour brought "Dartmouth On The Road" to Philadelphia. Used as an enrollment function as well as an alumni evening, the Club invited area high school students and teachers. Over 500 alumni and students responded and enjoyed a really outstanding evening of fun, information about what the students in Hanover are all about and an opportunity to talk with the road show cast of over twenty students. Jack Nason '59, vice-president and program chairman, was in charge of the evening which ran without a hitch.

David Steinberg '55, the Club's president and Dick Lippman '42 (who is about to move into a new house off in some wilderness area of the city reminiscent of Hanover) held a well-attended holding operation for the high school seniors who were recently accepted at the College on April 27. Dr. John Wolf '58 again donated his spacious, house and refreshments for the boys. The College sent John Carpenter '64 to speak with the group and field their questions. The Club expresses its annual sincere thanks to Dr. Wolf for his dedication and to Mrs. Wolf for her courage.

A special luncheon on May 1 concerned the College's ABC Project. Thomas N. Mikula spoke to the Club about the Program and how we can assist it.

Bicentennial plans are proceeding with a dinner-dance scheduled for December 13, 1969 at the Barclay, a special closed-circuit TV show from Hanover and a series of other events being arranged already.

The annual Club Picnic is set for June 14, with more details to follow in the Newsletter.

Jack Smith '63 has organized this year's edition of the Club Softball team and has a full slate of games in the Interclub League scheduled. He'll call all those showing interest, so let us know if you'd like to risk some pulled muscles and strained backs for the good of the Club.

Luncheons, buffet-style, continue Friday at noon at the Poor Richard Club.
