THE TENTATIVE PROGRAM for Dartmouth's 171 st Commencement, June 14 to 16, will be mailed early in May to all members of reuning classes, which this year include 1890, 1895, 1900, 1905, 1910, 1915, 1920, 1925, 1930, and 1935. According to tradition the Fifty Year Class, this year the Class of 1890, will be honored at the annual meeting of the General Alumni Association on Saturday morning, June 15. The principal events of the Commencement program have tentatively been announced by Sidney C. Hayward '26, secretary of the College, as follows: Thursday, June 13 EVENING: Meetings of the Board of Trustees and Alumni Council.
Friday, June 14 MORNING: Meeting of Alumni Council. AFTERNOON: Class Day exercises. Thayer School alumni meeting. Band concert. EVENING: Medical School graduation exercises and alumni meeting. Reception by President and Mrs. Hopkins for seniors, faculty, alumni and guests. Glee Club concert. Dartmouth Movies. Commencement Ball.
Saturday, June 15 MORNING: Phi Beta Kappa meeting. Parade of alumni, faculty and seniors and fathers to annual meeting of Alumni ♦Association, Alumni Gymnasium, including presentation of Fifty-Year Class. AFTERNOON: Outdoor buffet luncheon for alumni, faculty, seniors and fathers. Yale-Dartmouth baseball game. Fraternity reunions. Tuck School alumni meeting.
EVENING: Band concert. Dartmouth movies. Commencement performance by The Players. Glee Club concert.
Sunday, June 16
MORNING: Baccalaureate exercises.
AFTERNOON: Alumni chapel service in memory of Dean Craven Laycock '96. Organ recital.
EVENING: Graduation exercises in the Bema (in Webster Hall in case of rain). Band concert. Dartmouth movies.
