A NUMBER OF SUMMER-TIME EVENTS are in the offing for the Chicago alumni, all of which promise to create more interest than ever before. This being the last of the Chicago notes until Fall, your correspondent will catalogue the events so that calendars may be marked and dates set down indelibly as not to be missed.

On June 4 there will be a special lunch- eon at Mandel Brothers Men's Grill at which a fascinating F.8.1, movie will be shown. More detailed announcement of this meeting is scheduled for mailing, but the date should be saved at all costs.

The annual golf party will be held late in July, probably on July 26, at Bob-o-Link Golf Club just west of Highland Park. Last year's party at Knollwood was the most successful of any up to that time, but there is reason to believe this year's will be better attended and more fun. We understand the tariff is somewhat reduced!

Of course the annual picnic at Louis Leverone's farm will be a big event. As usual, it is planned tentatively for August 27, two nights before the All-Star football game. On this, too, a more detailed announcement will be sent by mail, but no one can say he has not been put on notice. Men in the younger classes especially are invited to this party. Those who have never been don't know what a good time they're missing. Anyone can leave their office after work and still get there in time for a little baseball and Louis' delicious barbecue dinner.

And that's all until next Fall. We'll be looking for you meantime at these parties.
