ONE OF THE MOST loyal and most helpful, one of the most congenial, one of the best beloved—was Jim Driscoll. There is no measure of words to define the extent of our loss caused by his going. We remember affectionately his warm fellowship and constant devotion to the College. On January 13—green and white carnations for the services, scores of Dartmouth men present there—in tribute to Jim. Thus he
became, even more completely, "a part of something that shall endure."
