Gordon J. Wise '37, student at Columbia University's School of Architecture, won the Boring Medal in January with his sketch for "A Music Center in Flushing Meadow Park." The award in the competition, which was open to all fourth-year students, was made for excellence in design.

Last June Wise was joint-winner of the Charles Peck Warren Medal, the School's highest competitive prize in construction. This competition, open to both third- and fourth-year students, was for the best design of a permanent reviewing stand for Fifth Avenue.
