THE GLEE CLUB and Barbary Coast orchestra have certainly made a name for themselves in Reading. No one will deny the fact that our party on March 28 th was a social success. The members of our group who live in Reading have heard nothing but good words for the Glee Club and the orchestra. As a matter of fact, we have received requests for a return engagement next year.

Your secretary can only express sympathy to those of you who, for various reasons, couldn't attend, for he knows what a whopping good evening you missed. We had visitors from Harrisburg, Allentown, Bethlehem, and even South Orange, New Jersey. Our own group was well represented and the following men were very much in evidence during the course of the evening: Bob Ritter '18, Kingsbury Badger '29, Hank Schnurman '30, John Young, honorary, Ed Heath '38, Ken Simonds '25, A1 Doolittle '36, Martin Klechner Jr. '41, Louis Ekstrom '12, Andy Marshall '22, Rog Graves '37, Carlton Simonds '24, Tom McGrath '38, Lee Bausher '21, Joby Menges '26, Johnny Mullen '38, Milt Shultz '30, Frank Tragle '30, Jim Rick '31, Bob McHose '32, Jerry Hasbrouck '36, Bill Deak '18, Charley Pyewell '34, Dude Krum '38, Val Klopp '09, Chick Chickering '34, Jack Loose '33, Bud Erdman '37, Bill Breitinger '37, and Fred Roller '36.

Red Gordon '40 and Jack Weiner '40 were involved in a nasty automobile accident about a month ago. "Red" came out of it pretty well, but Jack will be laid up for the next month or two. Our best wishes to you, Jack.

The next meeting will be held in Bethlehem on or about May 23rd. Watch for an announcement.
