FOUR ALUMNI CLASSES will hold reunions in Hanover the week-end after Commencement, June 20-22, in a precedent making move to relieve the congestion of recent Commencements. To the members of 1931, 1926, 1931 and 1936 will be added class and club secretaries, class treasurers, and class agents, all of whom are gathering in Hanover on the same week-end as guests of the College. A number of alumni attending Hanover Holiday will also be present, giving the town a greatly enlarged population for the festive week-end.
President and Mrs. Hopkins will entertain all these alumni and their wives at an outdoor luncheon on Saturday. That afternoon "Jeff Tesreau Day" will be celebrated with a baseball game between a team made up of Dartmouth varsity and former varsity players and the town team of Springfield, Vt., one of the strongest in the Hanover region. The Players will revive their earlier hit, Our Town, in Webster Hall on Saturday night. An informal sports program has been arranged supplementary to the regular reunion events, and the annual Interstate Tennis Tournament, sponsored by the Varsity Courts Club, will be held on the College courts June 19 to 31.
