Here are a few remarks about football dates this fall. For the Harvard game, Oct. 17, there will be the usual Friday evening roundup at the University Club in Boston and the class luncheon Saturday before the game. If you live in the Boston area, you will receive a more detailed announcement later. Any one outside that area planning to attend the game should write Jim Davis, Framingham, Mass., for information about arrangements.
Transportation facilities permitting, the Dartmouth College Club will run a special train from New York to New Haven for the Yale game, with stops on the way.
The night before the Princeton game, a big Dartmouth-Princeton party is being planned at the Club in New York. This will be our first combined get-together with our Princeton friends at our new Dartmouth Club headquarters in New York adjoining the Princeton Club.
The Cornell game is being played at Buffalo, Nov. 14. Chet Gale will be glad to play host to classmates and their wives at a luncheon at the Buffalo Club. If you can make it, write him a few days in advance at 425 Franklin St., Buffalo.

Murray Hawkins says "The only one of the '19 men I come in contact with who is in the service is Clark Ingraham whom I see once in a while. I have been active in OCD and just completed a course given by the Army in bomb reconnaissance. John Young, who was in our firm, is with Board of Economic Warfare in charge of Latin American affairs in Washington, so possibly may come in contact with Bob Paisley. I saw Ralph Kilpatrick lately and he is very busy as his firm is doing quite a bit of work in building various Army and Navy instal- lations around here."
Jim Jewett "I have had only one job since I left college underwriting burglary, boiler and plate glass insurance for the Travelers. This supports my wife, a 10-year-old son, an 8-year-old daughter and myself, in some comfort but with few luxuries. My contribution to the war effort is small. I am an air raid warden and sit up one night a month at the Hartford Air Raid Warning Report Center." Doc Hodgkins—"Southern Pines and Pinehurst are more or less turning into army reservations. The Army Air Force Tech. Training Command has taken over the Pine Needles Hotel and Mid-Pines Club and there is talk of taking over the Carolina in Pinehurst."
Jigger Merrill "Received my May copy of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE recently and thought I'd send a mite for next year's fund while I had the funds. Since this is pay day and there isn't much use for money at this station, here's a money order for Max." Jigger is a Lt. Col. and is on overseas duty. We are indebted to George Bingham for the picture of him that you will find in this column.
