Newton writes, "We are comfortable." Wiswall writes, "God keeps me free from pain. On December 27, 1941, I reached the age of 82. Is there any of our number who goes higher than that?" No, Wizzy, Jim Fowler said in our Freshman History, "Wiswall has seen the most days."

Pete says his daughter, Eleanor, is able to go out to walk, and, the day after Wood died, he wrote, "Close up brothers, the line grows thin. In 1882, 60 years ago, the coming fall, we began the most wonderful part of our lives 'The Dartmouth Fellowship.' Long, may she live, WAH-HOOWAH '86, '86, '86."
